When he was just 14 months old, he entered a number of Indian homes. In fact, a big number of Indian homes. He started off as the Farz Baby!

He went on to model for a number of brands and made his film debut as a child artist in Mr India and a few other films between 1987 and 1994. Then he graduated to being an “adult” actor and his first appearance was in Ram Gopal Verma’s Mast, which won him his first award. Aftab has since excelled as a comedian and a villain and even won awards for playing the lead roles. Some of his successful films include Kasoor, Hungama, Awara Paagal Deewana.

Since 2009, Aftab has been producing along with acting. He has performed in Zee5 web series Poison 2.

Aftab may not have been a very prominent feature in Bollywood but it is to his credit that he has been able to stay sustained for over 30 years and has remained a very popular actor.
