Shiney Ahuja, the star of  Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi who had positioned himself as the top anti hero in the film industry in the early part of the century, is a perfect example of what can happen to a person when fate decides to disturb the success story.

Born on May 15, 1975, Shiney was a keen sportsman and invested a lot of time in his formative years developing his sporting skills. He was also interest in acting and after attending a few workshops organised by NSD, and later joined Barry John’s Acting School.

He Went on to become a top model for commercials, including Pepsi, Cadbury and Citibank, and finally got chosen by Sudhir Mishra  to play Vikram Malhotra in  Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. The film was a huge success critically and commercially, and Shiney had arrived. He went to act in Gangster, Woh Lamhe and as he was  securing his position as the next door neighbour hero, he was charged by his maid for rape. Iy shattered his career, was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment but later, the maid withdrew the charges.

After a long period was staying the fallen hero, he was cast in 2015 in Welcome Back.
