Tanushree Dutta is an Indian actress and model, she won the Femina Miss India Universe 2004 and
managed to be one of the top finalists in the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant 2004. She made her
debut in the film  Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai . She has worked in films like Ashiq Banaya Apne, Dhol,
Horn Ok Please, Bhagam Bhag, Chocolate, Apartment, Rokkk, Saas Bahu Aur Sensex and Speed.

In an interview in 2013, Dutta told that she couldn’t do more movies and is fighting depression after
being assaulted on the sets of Horn Ok Please. She took a break to deal with it and stayed in an
ashram to bring herself out of the situation. Even this break didn’t prove much useful to her and she
opted for some Buddhist-related breathing techniques in Ladakh. Tanushree claimed that the
techniques helped her feel normal again. She also quotes that “There is nothing called moksha,
leaving and abandoning children is not spirituality”, Despite having so many spiritual leaders, why do
we have so many rapes in the country.”

In 2018, when Tanushree spoke about the harassment on the sets on ‘Horn-Ok Please’, the whole
matter came into a controversial light and many supported or opposed the actress on speaking up
against Nana Patekar.
