Angoor

A gem from Gulzar, Angoor is based on Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors. Mr & Ms Tilak have a twin son who are called by the same name, Ashok and they subsequently adopt another twin, both called Bahadur. Naturally, mistaken identities, confusion, disasters all keep happening in their lives. This makes the task of the support characters like the jeweller, the cop and the taxi driver even more difficult.

A remake of Do Dooni Char, Angoor won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award which went to Deven Verma.
