When Dilsher’s father, a singer in Gurudwaras, passes away, his heartbroken son travels to Delhi to meet an industrialist from his village in Gurdaspur who made it big in the capital city. Through several deceitful ways he is finally able to meet rich man who had given him some life advice in his youth, and they become close. However, things are not as they seem, as Dilsher – who stammered while speaking, soon realises that his speech difficult goes away when he sings. Slowly, he starts picking up the pieces and eventually decides to walk in his late father’s footsteps and lose himself in song and music. Will he be successful, or will his mistakes in life catch up with him and make him suffer further?
