Sarkar

The First of Ram Gopal Verma’s three part series on the re making of Godfather, Sarkar is the story of the Nagre family. Subhash nagre delivers justice to people who have been failed by the system, has high moral value but spares no one who has stepped out of line. He even rejects deals from the underworld and even his own family members are not spared.

The film ends with Subahsh Nagre’s  retirement and his son, Shankar Nagre taking over.

 The film shows the dark underbelly of Mumbai and the politician underworld nexus.
