Hailing from a poor background, Mangal starts stealing food to protect himself from starving and this leads to another crime and then another. As happens to every criminal, Mangal is given death sentence and he is supposed to be hanged. However, Mangal successfully escapes from the prison with the help of a don, Suraj. He takes up another identity, Ramu and starts living in a village. Little did he know that he is living with the parents of a person he killed while escaping from the jail. Will Mangal feel remorse for his deed? Will he be able to escape his final fate?
