Pandemic Part 2

The world has only recently seen the devastating effects of a pandemic caused by a novel virus originating from Australia and bringing life on US soil to a near standby. However, CDC Dr Kayla Martin (Tiffani Thiessen) and her team were successful in finding an antidote the virus and bring an end to the disease. However, it would seem that no lessons were learnt by the authorities, because when another unknown virus affects Los Angeles not too soon afterwards, she and her team must fight an uphill battle against a stubborn Mayor (Eric Roberts) and his crony bureaucracy and opportunists, who try to use the pandemic to score political points for themselves. Will Dr Martin be successful, or will she lose this battle against the deadly virus that threatens the entire world?
