Jeevandas and Shankar are two brothers who have immense love for each other. They have their own farming lands. Jeevandas has no kids and Shankar has two sons – Shyam and Govind. Govind gets electrocuted as a child and as a result his right side gets dysfunctional. Hence, Jeevandas provides Shyam with immense love and support and sides with him in case of any dispute. He loves Govind as his own son. But, Jeevandas’ wife doesn’t like Govind because of his disability and taunts him about everything. However, she loves his brother Shyam.

Shyam is sent to outstation for further studies and when he comes back, he meets Neelima, who happens to be a relative of Jeevandas’ wife. Here, Neelima’s brother Navrangi Lal plays with Shyam’s emotion and traps him to get married to his sister Neelima. Shyam becomes indifferent to the family and Jeevanlal’s wife asks for the division of ancestral property. This begins a series of misunderstandings.
