Khakee The Real Police

A real thriller, the film is a remake of the French film, Nuit Blanche and was filmed in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. The film casts Kamal Hassan, Prakash Raj and Trisha. The film is about a cop, Diwakar who is lured in to a deal by drug lord, Vittal Rao. A high scoring crime film, the film was well appreciated by critics and collected ₹ 4 crores on the first day itself in Tamil Nadu. The film has a song sung by Kamal Hassan with heavy metal music composed by Ghibran.

The film is titled Thooonga Vanam in Tamil.
