Little did the free-wheeling Raj Malhotra (Shahrukh Khan) realise when fooling an upright convenience store owner Baldev Singh (Amrish Puri) over a pack of beers in London that it would be his daughter, Simran (Kajol), who’d take his breath away on a trip through Europe a few days later.
