Banaras

Shwetambari, a young girl who belongs to a high-caste Brahmin family from Banaras falls in love with a low case mystic, Soham. The man illuminated by his mentor accepts that one can naturally fall in love with the other person without being bothered by her religion or caste. The love between the two is strongly opposed by the residents of the city. Shwetambari finally gets depressed with the happenings and Soham gets killed. After many years, she returns to Banaras and witnesses her dying father. She deals with a turbulence of emotions.
