Bajirao Mastani

When travelling to Sironj on official business, Peshwa Bajirao (Ranveer Singh) is impressed by a messenger, a woman called Mastani (Deepika Padukone), the daughter of the Rajput King Chhatrasal of Bundelkhand, who requests the Peshwa’s help in fighting off invaders from their kingdom. Not only does Bajirao oblige, he also falls in love with the gallant and brave Mastani – only he is already married to the devoted Kashibai (Priyanka Chopra). Mastani soon becomes the Peshwa’s second wife, but their love is constantly challenged by a vengeful family and an orthodox court. Will their love find a way, or was it doomed to begin with?
