An Evening in Paris

A 1967 block buster by Shakti Samanta which has a number of evergreen songs has been one of the biggest box office successes of all times.

Set in Paris, the story centres around the romance of Rupa and Sam but has a master villain Sekhar, who has his own agenda and throws a spanner in the works.He kidnaps Rupa for ransom but comes across a Rupa look alike in a cabaret dancer, Suzy. Naturally, we have a case of mistaken identities but despite Suzy trying to become Rupa, the plot sinks and the game gets more complicated when it is discovered that Rupa and Suzy are twin sisters separated at birth.
