Kajal hails from Mumbai and did her schooling from the city of dreams itself, she hails from a business family and did her masters in communication and advertising. Before starting to act in movies, Kajal was a model and was infact the brand ambassador of Panasonic.
Kajal Aggarwal has made her first film appearance with Khun!Ho Gaya Na, and then went on to do several successful films, especially in Tamil and Telegu. She has acted in movies like Lakshmi Kalyanam, Chandamama (gained her recognition), and Magadheera that helped her make a name for her in the industry. It was a huge hit and she was applauded by many critics. Her other movies are Baadshah, Andarivadele, Khaidi No. 150, Thupakki, Vivegm, Mersel and Singham in 2011 (Hindi movie), and her film Special 26 that released in 2013 was a super hit.
Kajal believes in PETA’s philosophy and is also linked with another NGO named “Giving Back”. One of her recent achievements include getting her wax statue at Madame Tussads in Singapore, she is the first South Indian actress to receive this honour. One of her upcoming films is with Sunil Shetty. In her career that is not too long, Kajal Aggrawal has successfully made a name for herself and received many awards for her contribution to cinema.
