Shorgul

This is a tale which portrays how politics uses love and religion to fulfill its own purposes. Based in Uttar Pradesh, Chaudhary is a local politician whose son, Raghu, falls in love with Zainab. As evident by the names, Raghu is a Hindu and Zainab is a Muslim who already happens to be engaged with Saleem. Raghu is killed which further complicates the situation. What follows then is heavy bloodshed and communal riots.
