Wildcat

Not only does oil man, Johnny Maverick (Richard Arlen) bring on the hitchhiker he fondly referred to as “Chicopee”, he also takes him into his oil business and makes him an equal partner. But rival Mike Rawlins (Buster Crabbe) makes sure Chicopee dies soon enough and the evil villain even tries to take the oil business from under Maverick’s feet. And while matters couldn’t get worse for the poor businessman, con artist, Nan Deering (Arline Judge) arrives on the scene, pretending to be Chicopee’s sister and takes over his share in the business. Maverick must now do all he can to save his business and his livelihood.
